Glock’s Toto Jr

GLOCK’s Toto Jr. is the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. In spring 2014, he won the stallion performance test in Ermelo with 86 points, won the PAVO Cup 2015-16 and won the Stallion Competition two years in a row in classes L and M. In walk, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. impresses with outstanding scope, in trot and canter he captivates with his light-footedness, balance and strong uphill tendency.

In 2024, Glock’s Toto Jr is awarded the Grande Prize by the Hanoverian Verband:
The awarding of the Grande Prize to a middle-aged stallion is linked to the hope that he will have a lasting positive influence on Hanoverian breeding. Normally, this is mainly achieved via the mare base if the stallion is widely used in the population. In the case of this year’s prize-winner Toto Jr. by Totilas/Desperados (breeder: ZG Schmidt, Naumburg), things are different. From the first phase of his breeding career in the Netherlands, his influence is currently manifested more on the sire side. Three of his daughters are registered in Hanover, but ten of his sons are licensed and registered in Stallion Book I.
Toto Jr. passed his stallion performance test in Ermelo in 2014, where he excelled in walk, canter and rideability. He also scored highly in terms of his conformation. Type, construction and foundation were all rated positively. Toto Jr. is not only the first licensed and performance-tested son of his great sire Totilas in Germany, but also in the Netherlands. Edward Gal took over the equestrian training of the black stallion, whose sire and dam’s sire won Olympic gold, and led him to victory in international Grand Prix competitions at the age of ten.

His interior is also of outstanding quality. GLOCK’s Toto Jr. passes these qualities on to his offspring, which is reflected in an extremely positive foal report. The offspring of GLOCK’s Toto Jr. have achieved high prices at a wide variety of foal auctions.
With GLOCK’s Taminiau and King Karim, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. produced two of a total of eight licensed KWPN stallions in spring 2018.

The dam of GLOCK’s Toto Jr, Desperada, is a daughter of Desperados, who won two individual silver medals at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. The dam and also the granddam of GLOCK’s Toto Jr. passed excellent mare performance tests in Germany and were awarded a 10.0 for rideability by the test riders.
