Glock’s Toto Jr
GLOCK’s Toto Jr. is the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. In 2014, he won the stallion performance test in Ermelo with 86 points, followed by victories in the PAVO Cup in 2015 and 2016, and consecutive wins in the Stallion Competition classes L and M. Known for his impressive walk with outstanding scope, he also captivates with his light-footed trot and canter, exceptional balance, and strong uphill tendency.
In 2024, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. was honored with the Grande Prize by the Hanoverian Verband, awarded to stallions of middle age expected to have a lasting positive impact on Hanoverian breeding. While most stallions influence primarily through the mare base, Toto Jr.’s legacy is evident through his sons: ten are licensed and registered in Stallion Book I, while three daughters are registered in Hanover.
Edward Gal took over his training, guiding the black stallion to international Grand Prix victories by the age of ten, following in the footsteps of his sire and dam’s sire, who both earned Olympic gold. Toto Jr. consistently passes on his outstanding traits, with his offspring showing impressive quality, achieving high prices at foal auctions, and receiving excellent evaluations.
The dam of GLOCK’s Toto Jr., Desperada, is a daughter of Desperados, a stallion who won two individual silver medals at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. Both Desperada and her dam excelled in mare performance tests in Germany, receiving a perfect 10.0 for rideability.
